The Capitol Hill Internship Program
Location: Washington, D.C.
Pfeiffer University is a member of the United Methodist College Washington Consortium, which offers students the experience of living, interning and studying in the heart of Washington, D.C. Students participating in the Capitol Hill Internship Program live in attractive apartments on Capitol Hill, intern in government and non-governmental offices as part of select programs available only in Washington, D.C. and learn in challenging seminars and courses that are tailored to enrich their internship experience.
To apply, you must be a sophomore, junior or senior in good academic standing.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation: Charlotte Chapter Special Event Intern Position
Location: Charlotte, NC
As the special event intern for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, responsibilities would include assisting the Charlotte Chapter event staff in the planning, implementation and evaluation of special events and other chapter programs.
Since 1955, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been the driving force behind the pursuit of a cure.Thanks to the dedication and financial backing of our supporters--patients, families and friends, clinicians, researchers, volunteers, individual donors, corporations and staff, they are making a difference.The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a nonprofit donor-supported organization, is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.

United Methodist Volunteers in Mission
Location: Birmingham, Ala.
This is a 9 week program where a student will spend 2 weeks in the Birmingham, A.L. United Methodist Volunteers in Mission, Southeast Jurisdiction (SEJ) office, 3 weeks at an UMVIM, SEJ domestic project, 3 weeks at an UMVIM, SEJ international project and then 1 week of debriefing in the UMVIM, SEJ Birmingham, AL office. The student will get to experience various aspects of mission and ministry, spend time with mentors, see justice at work, and spend time in discernment of their calling.
