Pfeiffer University names Robert Reasso '73 vice president for athletics, athletic director and men’s soccer coach
Pfeiffer University announces that Robert (Bob) Reasso has been named vice president for athletics, athletic director and head coach for men’s soccer.
Mr. Reasso, a 1973 Pfeiffer graduate, former student-athlete and a member of the Pfeiffer Sports Hall of Fame, comes to Pfeiffer from Husson University, Bangor, Maine. Previously, he coached men’s soccer at Rutgers University where he led the Scarlet Knights to 13 NCAA tournament appearances, three Final Four tournaments and, in 1990, was named National Coach of the Year.
Kappa Delta Pi Installs New Chapter at Pfeiffer University
Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society for qualified education professionals, has installed a new chapter at Pfeiffer University, approved for charter. Installation took place on April 7. Among those initiated are faculty from Pfeiffer’s undergraduate and graduate programs as well as several Pfeiffer graduates.
3-2 business program puts Pfeiffer student on the fast track to success
As a part of the 3-2 business program, Pfeiffer University student Vontenea Williams is gaining real-world experience that will help her to be successful when she graduates this December—with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree.

On Tues., April 16, students from Pfeiffer University had the opportunity to display works of art created during their time at Pfeiffer at 8th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition held at Falling Rivers Art Gallery in Albemarle, N.C. The show is open to all undergraduate students regardless of whether or not they are majoring in art.
Each year the art program invites an outside artist, art educator or curator to Pfeiffer’s Misenheimer campus to judge all entries to the exhibit and honor those worthy with an award. This year's juror was Ingrid Erickson, an artist from Salisbury who is heads education programming at the Waterworks Visual Arts Center in Salisbury.
